Here is the worksheet I refer to in the June newsletter. I wish you a peaceful summer full of growth and healing. Would love to hear your plans: lisa@thewidowscomeback.com Love you widow friends!
This worksheet is designed to gently guide you through the unique challenges and opportunities of summer. Use these prompts to reflect, plan, and reclaim your season—one humid evening or quiet morning at a time.
🌞 Survival: Staying Steady This Summer
1. What feels hard about summer for you right now?
2. What are three ways you can build in small moments of rest or routine, even with others around?
3. Is there a boundary you need to set this summer to protect your energy or peace?
4. What can you let go of (expectations, plans, pressure) in order to just get through?
🌸 Self: Reconnecting with You
1. What part of you has been on the back burner lately? How might you bring her forward again?
2. Is there a simple activity that feels like 'you'—even for 15 minutes?
3. What brings you pleasure or makes you feel a spark, even in grief?
4. What does your summer self need: more quiet? more play? more movement?
📝 Gentle Planning Ideas
- Set a weekly rhythm: walks, rest days, meals you enjoy, connection time.
- Try a themed summer reading list (Memoir Mondays, Fiction Fridays).
- Make space for a creative goal—just one: journal, garden, paint, record.
- Make one space in your home feel peaceful—a chair, corner, or even just your favorite candle.
